TAGT publishes Insights, an annual Directory of TAGT scholarships, grants, and awards, and a listing of summer programs available for gifted students. TAGT scholarships and grants provide:
- Up to $400 per gifted youth to help attend summer enrichment programs
- $500 for the highest scoring elementary and secondary student
- $2500 to a graduating high school senior who has demonstrated leadership potential
- $2500 to a graduate who has outstanding academic achievement, possesses a strong sense of purpose and clearly defined goals, and has a long-term plan for achieving these goals
Besides offering these great scholarships, TAGT is the nation’s largest state advocacy group of its kind, providing members and friends of gifted youth a forum for exchanging ideas and information about the education of gifted and talented students. TAGT promotes the awareness of the unique social, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted and talented students in an effort to impact appropriate educational services to meet these needs.
